The selection confronts political and structural histories through prominent material transformations. Nicholas Galanin’s recent work features Ascension, a prominent, floor-based sculpture consisting of a deconstructed tourist totem reconfigured into the shape of a ladder, offering a potent critique of cultural commodification. Alongside it, Robert Zandvliet presents a large-scale recent painting from his acclaimed Paradaidha series—recently featured in a major solo exhibition at Kunsthalle Darmstadt— which deconstructs natural landscapes into immersive, light-flooded color fields.

The booth includes a compelling juxtaposition pairing a large-scale recent painting by John Zurier alongside a 1993 work by Robert Ryman. This arrangement directly demonstrates Ryman’s enduring influence on Zurier’s atmospheric, surface-conscious practice. Expanding on these minimalist lineages, the presentation features a vibrant recent work by Marina Adams and a 2021 portrait of a woman by Alex Katz, anchoring the presentation in a lineage that demonstrates the gallery's overall program.

Bringing the presentation into the immediate present are new works created specifically for the fair. Martha Tuttle and Rebecca Ward debut new works for Frieze London that navigate the tactile boundaries of textiles, raw pigment, and architectural tension. Complementing these textured surfaces, Esther Klas introduces an intimate new works on paper suite for Frieze London, mapping minimalist spatial rhythms and poetic gestural form. Together, these artists reflect the gallery’s historic and ongoing commitment to rigorous formal innovation.
